MY PHILOSOPHY: As your therapist, your treatment will be trauma-informed. This means you are in the driver seat. Many folks I have worked with have experienced multiple adverse experiences in life and are seeking to regain control. This is a normal response to loss of control, and I am ready to help you work through your life stressors and past experiences that have made you who you are today. I firmly believe we are the experts of our own lives and with this framework, will help you remember your strength, resilience, and capabilities to work through your struggles. Most of the work I do tends to be rooted in the mind-body connection, inner family systems, mindfulness, and education to assist you in overcoming life’s challenges. My goal is to help you reach your goals. I tend to match your tone in sessions and “keep it real” as much as possible. Without genuine connection, it’s hard to change, and I hope you feel that genuineness in sessions with me!
