MY PHILOSOPHY:
My philosophy of therapy and change: “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” – Viktor E. Frankl.

My approach to therapy is centered around creating a space where you can feel truly safe and supported, allowing you to express yourself without fear of judgment. I recognize that everyone’s journey is unique and shaped by personal experiences, perspectives, and the challenges they’ve faced. As a certified trauma professional, my role is to offer a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where you can explore, process, and heal from past wounds. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which are evidence-based approaches that help you understand and change thought patterns, behavior, and emotional regulation patterns. Whether you’re navigating the effects of trauma, dealing with the emotional and psychological impact of complex life events, facing present-day challenges, or seeking personal growth, I am committed to walking with you every step of the way. Together, we’ll work to build resilience, create a more profound sense of self-understanding, and unlock your potential for lasting healing and transformation.

EXPERIENCE:
I began my journey in the mental health field in 2022, working as a care coordinator for a nonprofit organization, where I developed a deep understanding of the complexities individuals face in their mental health journeys. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kean University, where I gained foundational knowledge and skills in understanding human behavior. I then pursued my Master’s degree in Counseling from Rutgers University, graduating in 2024 with a commitment to supporting individuals through meaningful therapeutic change. In 2025, I became a Certified Trauma Professional, solidifying my expertise in trauma-informed care. With a strong foundation in both clinical and practical experience, I am passionate about helping individuals heal and grow through tailored, compassionate care.
